I welcome you to my new series "Of Warrior, Gods and Kings". My journey began with a sequence of random events from which I was able to draw huge inspiration. As these events unfolded, portions of this body of work slowly emerged. Over a glass of wine (ok...glasses) with a friend, a discussion of art and mediums naturally led to wine foils. The wine foils are now the uniting force in the series and the course of my art forever changed.

The materials I used were selected from a variety of sources and incorporated using techniques that I have developed over my years of painting. The combination of wine foils, acrylic paints and stains, chronicles, papers and digitally enhanced images results in a blend of abstract art, surrealism and impressionism. I married antiquity and modernism to further the range of my creativity. Even with these conflicting schools of thought, the series achieves cohesiveness.

I am evolved, expanded and full of joy as a result of this journey. My range is expanded and myself expressed in a most cathartic fashion. I hope you will enjoy the works as much as I have and may it transform your life as positively as it has mine.
